LOLBOOT: Verb. 1. Replaces the word “reboot” when nobody knows why a particular problem is occurring on a computer or server, they’ve spent hours researching it and everyone is stumped. 2. Acknowledges the irony of throwing expertise out the window, assuming the crash position and simultaneously conveying the need to reboot. Usage: “Try lolbooting.”, “I have know idea why air traffic control can’t see that plane, try a lolboot.”, “The social security report shows a negative balance…maybe try lolbooting.”
